TeachMeet Pompey will be back in the new academic year and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever.
We are delighted to announce that Tim Rylands, who will be working in Portsmouth schools that week, has agreed to keynote the event.
Tim Rylands has been described as “an extremely gifted and inspirational teacher, with a love of the creative potential of technology and an excellent rapport with his pupils”We are very excited about this as we are great fans of Tim’s work. Read more about Tim here.
I’ll be hosting the event with my partner in crime Phil Wright and Jo Debens has even promised cakes. You never know, Samuel Atkins may have moulded his beard into something even more wonderful by then too.
The evening will begin with a drinks reception on board HMS Victory before moving to the National Museum of the Royal Navy, which has wifi and chairs. This promises to be a fantastic event and we want to take over the Historic Dockyard with teachers!
Further details to be announced as we confirm them.
